David N. Fogel

David N. Fogel is an Attorney Advisor with IRS Estate & Gift Tax Policy. He started with the Internal Revenue Service in 1994 as an Estate Tax Attorney.  David graduated with a B.A. degree from Binghamton University, and a J.D. from Southwestern University, where he was the recipient of American Jurisprudence Awards for Wills and Trusts, Marital (Community) Property, Uniform Commercial Code and Antitrust law. David practiced estate planning and tax controversy work with the law firm of Hoffman, Sabban and Watenmaker. He is an IRS instructor and frequent speaker on the subjects of estate and gift taxation and IRS practice and procedure, and is an Adjunct Professor at UWLA School of Law where he has taught Wills and Trusts and Federal Estate and Gift Taxation. David is a member of the California State Bar.
